 Today will be my last routine morning post. Ethan had a decent night. He had his bath with heated towels (spa routine). He did feel nauseous this morning but is feeling better now. He is frustrated with his current situation and I think he will be so much happier with this damn tube out.

We scheduled an early PT session before his procedure. That will likely cheer him up. Who knows what is in store for us today.

    Last routine morning post? does this mean the tube is coming out and everything? I'm confused nervous and happy all at the same time...

    If that tube is out I am suuuuper happy!

    Good to hear that he won't have to miss his PT today. He may not feel like it later in the day. Another day of progression. Steer clear of the POT HOLES. Working toward the short term goal of extubation. Whatever is in store for you today, you both can handle it. Love you both!!

    So my understanding would be you will do a post at night to catch us up on his day? If that is it, it makes sense. You have done a wonderful job keeping us updated with morning and nightly posts, thank you. With Ethan being more active, you are going to be busy.

    Sweetness, we'll take news as we get it and cheer accordingly!!!! Praying for the step by step progress to just keep on movin' forward.... and that his restless heart (pun intended) takes a chill pill so that his body has some more time to catch up. The good thing is his urge to heal, to leave, to do... The bad thing is that seventeen-year-old boys are the most impatient creatures on the planet, so good luck, Mama! :) Praying for the very best!
