Ethan didn’t go to work today because Covid has it’s claws in some of Ethan’s coworkers. He is being safe by staying home.

Somehow we got into a conversation about money. He schooled me on “star notes”.  A replacement banknote, (star note) is a bill that has been printed to replace a busted up bill and used as a control mechanism for the government to know which bills have been reprinted. Since no two serial numbers can be the same, a star is placed at the end of the serial number to indicate it is a replacement.

We ended up finding a few star notes in some of the bills we have. We then looked up the value on eBay. Some of the bills we had were worth like $40 more than the face value of the bill. One of the bills similar to the one I had was being sold for $1900 more than the face value of the bill. Who is buying this??? It was all stupid fun. It was nice, just the two of us.

We also started watching a show called “Life after Death”. It is a docu-series about what happens to people when they “die” but then they are revived. It features real stories of people and what they remember. The people also talk about how they felt about it afterward and how it changed their views. Ethan was frustrated he couldn’t remember anything about his cardiac arrests, but is fascinated by himself overcoming death.

He was quite talkative and I am hoping it helped him process things. I take it when I can get it. He also was talking about going to a medium to try to communicate with his donor. After a little research, we got a name of a medium that has participated in that type of mediation before. Ethan said he would be quite interested in doing this. This is right up our alley as we have both had paranormal experiences as well as believe their could be another dimension that exists. Who knows.  Some people believe, some don’t. We will see how it goes and base our decision on that.

Jiminy is preparing for his surgery tomorrow by napping blissfully. He has been doing better with the potting outside. We have had many successes. Night time is for dogs to nap on my lap. Tonight I wasn’t able to do much….you know….because I didn’t want to wake up the dog.

Little Jiminy a kind soul. He has lots of kisses to give.

  2. I'm always learning from this blog! Star notes are fascinating. I had no idea. I'm glad Ethan is opening up a bit. That's so great! I'm fascinated to learn what a medium might say to him. It might be a great healing tool for him. Good luck sweet little Jiminy. xoxo
