 Today I was on my game at the conference and felt like I collected a lot of valuable contact information. I am hoping that it will help me fill some positions.

The cool part of this conference is that I had a lot of fun getting to know my co-workers on a personal level. We attend the same meetings. We show up, receive information, ask questions, and disconnect. There is no real socializing. This was an opportunity to get to know them. I was quite thankful for that. I work with a lot of cool ladies.

Avery and I headed over to Sea World in the afternoon. It had just rained buckets before we headed over. It was an introverts dream. No lines. No people. No rain for the rest of the afternoon. It was comfortable about 75 and not blaring sun. Amazing! We got to go on the BEST day.We had an absolute blast. Each set of animals we stumbled upon was even more entertaining than the last. We saw the flamingos. 🦩 

The stood tall and proud. They smoothly strutted around with their chests puffed out. They were a bit arrogant as they fluffed their feathers.

We then decided to feed the sting rays. There were fancy birds supervising this operation. These birds were quietly waiting for a slip up to take advantage of.  At one point a bird tip toed toward Avery. He was trying to take her shrimp. Jerks!

We saw several aquariums filled with all sorry of different  aquatic animals. Manatee, fish, sting ray, sea turtles, sea horses.  We saw a dolphin presentation (but weren’t part of the group).

We watched the manatee eat. Some of them were so obese. They are just the nicest off all the sea creatures. These were the fastest manatee I haven ever seen.

Avery and I were most entertained by the sea lions. They were dramatic, loud and made the funniest noises. Most of them had growls low voices, except one. The one was a squeaky high pitched squeal. We were dying laughing and were so entertained. We got to feel them which made our day. 

We went on several roller coasters. Stand up ones, ones that put you in a position like you are flying, regular positioned one. 

We came back to the hotel in the evening, we had a light dinner at Panera. There were 6 of us having drinks at the pool. We ordered frozen yogurt, happily ate it and then went to bed. Off to the airport in the morning.
