 I had a bad day. One of my coworker’s was let go. She was my work wife. She is a good lady and it makes me sad for her. I can’t even imagine.

I really enjoyed her company and perspective of things. I will miss her dearly. 

Luckily I was on my way to the vet conference this evening. I flied out with my friend Heather. We have plans tomorrow and then I am going to be tied up with work things. 

I started thinking about my obligations and started to panic that I might not have enough down time. I will have to be a bit protective of my energy this trip. Dinners every night after talking all day. Ooofff! 

The flight was good. The hotel is nice they gave me warm cookies when I checked in. That had a spot that sold margaritas in a can, so that is a win!

So far, so good.

I took some cute pics of Jiminy with the headband that Sarah gifted to him. He is such a perfect dog!
