Last night I was chuckling to myself. I found this odd picture. I sent it out to a few people. I then followed it up with “opps, sorry, that was meant for someone else!” I did this just to see what kind of reaction I would get. I come up with things like this when I am bored.
Try it! It is hysterical!
I was laughing hysterically at the reactions I received. I actually was having trouble NOT laughing. I was cracking up so hard, in my bedroom, in the dark.
Most responses were based in confusion, “who were you sending it to?” Type questions. “What is the story behind this?” Questions.
I sent the image to Paul. I was sitting on the couch with him as he opened the image.
Paul: “what the heck?” He said as he opened the picture.
Me: very casually…” opps I meant to send that to someone else.”
Paul “oh.” And then sets his phone down.
I watched as he didn’t even have one follow up question. There was no curiosity behind the picture. Nothing.
Me: “That’s it? No further questions?” I asked, kind of annoyed that he wasn’t the least bit curious what the conversation prior to sending g this picture could be.
No! He had no further questions. He is numb to my antics. Note to self…need to try harder on my end!
I decided to finally watch the SNL 50 years special. SNL was a huge part of my life, especially in the 90’s. I grew to appreciate the older cast and have watched it off and on over the past 30+ years.
I enjoyed the skits. I enjoyed seeing all the people. I enjoyed the blend of old and new characters in the same skit.
I enjoyed the Mike Meyer’s appearance as Linda Richman the Coffee Talk host. Adam Sandler’s song about the 50 years.
I can’t believe Lorne Michaels is 80 and still doing it!
This evening Paul called me. He was out snowmobiling and said he and our friends had snowmobiled to the local restaurant/bar right down the road. I met them out. It was a nice impromptu little evening. It was so good to see everyone.
I am the only one in our group who can’t ride anymore. I had a nice evening of laughing and chatting. I totally enjoyed it, except for the blowing cold weather! Yikes.
