We got a note from the cardiology team that Ethan’s results from his research rejection testing came back a little wonky. Sometimes that can happen when there is an illness in the body or if there is rejection. He didn’t have an illness that we know of.
This test is only slightly elevated. I am not too worked up about it. Ethan’s team would like him to have a repeat test to see what has happened over the last few weeks with the value.
This test can only be done at the hospital. This is going to result in Ethan missing MORE work. I was annoyed for him.
I had a few follow up questions around how that test would be scheduled, where can we go for that? Can we set up an appointment? How late can we schedule an appointment.
My phone rang a bit later with an unknown number. My gut said to answer it. I normally don’t. Turns out, it was a man that wanted to assist in scheduling this for us. I explained that he worked from 7-4:30 Monday-Friday.
The man on the other end decided that he was going to send someone to the house to get this blood drawn. Saturday the person will be here. Cool!
I told Ethan about it and he was happy he didn’t have to use his gas and drive somewhere to get the blood draw done. Win!
I was able to accomplish a lot today. I did some meal prep. Got lots of work stuff set up. Had several meetings.
The end of the month happened and now I have to do monthly reporting. Trouble is, even though I took notes, I don’t remember how to get some of the numbers….after 2 hours of trying to figure out how others came up with their numbers, I waved the white flag, said hateful things about reporting and set up a meeting to have a coworker walk me through it again. Ugh!
I started looking at excursions for our cruise next year. Funny thing is, another couple going with us did the same thing. What are the chances?
Avery shared she was having fun at her conference. She shared her poster and research with others.

She went to dinner and ordered herself an alcoholic beverage because she is legally able to participate in alcoholic consumption. She sent me a picture of it. It was so cute and fancy.
This picture of her with her poster is just adorable. I wish everyone had Avery in their life. She is a delight….except when she is cranky or pissed. But I can overlook those times. Ha ha.
She was having fun but admitted her social battery was empty. I totally understand what that is like.
Avery is cute! And very witty and funny! Is that a Bees 🐝 Knees cocktail? 😋
ReplyDeleteGreat pic of Avery!
