Ethan was excited it was Saturday. He did some work out in the garage and has been looking forward to being able to do so all week.
He headed to the lab early this morning. We are hoping his medication level has stabilized. Once we get it stabilized, he will have to get another heart biopsy.
Us girls had a leisurely morning, got ourselves ready and left for tubing. We parked a car at the exit where we were going to be stepping out of the river. We drove a second vehicle to the launch point.
The river we were tubing on is the Lehigh River. It is a tributary of the Delaware river. The water was “refreshing” at first but we quickly became acclimated. The sun was warm and wonderful.
The rapids had us tooling along. It was like a fast lazy river, with no rapids that threatened to take the tubes or anything like that.
We saw very few people on the river. We were pretty sure we were having more fun than all of them.
The river had picturesque views, and we chatted away during our 2 hour float.
When we were finished, we packed it up and headed home. We spent some time in the pool, had adult beverages and ordered take out.
We spent the evening outside playing games and laughing. It was a wonderful way to spend the day.
