I was chilly with the fan in the window last night. Yikes. Ethan slept with Jiminy and immediately woke up and medicated Jiminy. That made my heart happy.

I went to my physical therapy appointment. My physical therapist did some elbow work on my butt cheek. It sounds dirty. I assure you it is not. It is a bit uncomfortable, but it always makes me feel better the next day. Fingers crossed for the same result.

I loaded the littles up and took them to the vet. Dr. Jackie and I both felt that Jiminy would be better off waiting until next week to vaccinate him. He only needs his lifestyle vaccines, Lepto and Lyme. I had them draw his heartworm test when they checked his electrolytes on Tuesday (to save him a poke).

Dr. Jackie did say that Penny is due for a dental cleaning. I agree. Her gums look a bit red and yucky. I know they are expensive and they are an unsatisfying way to spend money, but they do help dogs FEEL better.

Over the last 10 years or more, the advances in protocol and equipment for dental cleanings has improved drastically, including fine tuning drug protocols, monitoring equipment and X-ray equipment.

Ferguson doesn’t have many teeth left. He is doing ok. Jiminy has some red and sore incisors, but Penny is the worst.

We did talk about my fear of putting Jiminy under for a dental cleaning. I don’t think he has normal sinus’s. He is “snorffally”. That is a term I made up but I pretend it is a medical term.

Jiminy has more wetness coming from his nose than a normal dog. He is constantly snorting and sneezing and has his nose dripping. That was how he was made. I worry that the water that is used to help clean the teeth will get trapped or not drain properly.

I will embrace the idea at some point because I don’t want Jiminy eating in pain. Dogs are good at hiding that stuff. Not as good as cats though.

I have an expensive hobby. (The animals).

After work, I made 12 more meals for the freezer. There was a variety of pork and sausage with a side of veggies, rice or pasta. The sausage has sodium, but the pork, veggies and rice do not. I bought some fresh rosemary, used some smoked paprika, garlic and onions for taste.

All the meals went in the freezer. My meal served tonight was “make your own” salad. The protein was black beans and chick peas. We had tomato’s, corn, beets, almonds and cheese for toppings. Yum!

I made a mess with the dishes. I just left them in the sink as tomorrow I need to make more meatloaf. I am getting used to this no salt non-sense.

This evening I mopped the floors and shampooed the rug to get things cleaner. I pulled down several fans to help the rug dry. I will let it dry overnight so that.

I took the dogs for a walk in the field.  Moe tried to take off again, but his vibration collar was placed on him prior to us leaving the yard. His decisions were not appreciated a little vibration made him come right back. Yay!

I am looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow….which will likely be to 6:00 am. 🤣
