 Paul was off snowmobiling today and I had the day to myself. I had a good chat with Mom and then was off to clean and meal prep. 

After that was completed, all 4 pups got their spa day. Baths and warm up by the fire while they dried. I like them to dry and not be cold. I remember how much Moe used to fight me on baths. Now he is a perfect gentleman.  He does wear an annoyed face while in the bath. I can live with that.

I even was able to brush all of them afterward to get the loose hair out. I am not sure what I would do with my time without dogs. Ha! I know I give them tubby time more than most dogs get. I just don’t want the gamey dander smell in the house. 

Everyone got fresh beds maid including me! I love a nice fresh bed with good smelling linens.

Ethan rode the snowmobile around the field for a while. It is fun to see him having fun and doing normal things. I consider it exercise for him because it can feel like a workout trying to stear those things.

Ethan and I watched undercover boss. The one episode we watched was ridiculous. We were laughing about that there was no rhyme or reason for the amounts of money these people are rewarded with at the end. Also, how do people still not know? If someone shows up at your work to “compete for a chance to be awarded a business” it likely is the show undercover bosses.

One lady was lightly complaining because she worked for the company for 8 years and never got a raise. Why did she stay? 

When she first started working she was pulling 40 hours a week. Now her hours have been cut to 28 hours for the past several years with no raise. Her reward was she got to work 40 hours again. Congratulations! You’re working more! There was no mention of a raise. I think they were going to send her for leadership training. Ha! Ethan and I were dying laughing. It was fun.

This afternoon I finished up budgeting for a trip to Florida with 5 other ladies next year. We still have to do some planning but at least we picked a month. That should be a fun trip. We are going to Fort Lauderdale. I chose this location because it is near an animal activity on my bucket list. 

The place has otters you can touch, capybaras, a kangaroo you can hold and feed, and touching a sloth. Take all of my money…..can I sign up two times? It is not as cool as being bit by a camel, but still cool!

The request has also been made to go on an airboat. I have some research to do. I am looking forward to it.

I spoke with Avery. She and Kendall were going to a restaurant for Valentines Day.  It is called Ho Ho Hibatchi.

“Avery what are you guys doing for Valentines Day?”

“Kendall and I are going to dinner at Ho Ho.”

“Is the the restaurant named after you and Kendall?”

“UNBELIEVABLE! Mom!”

She laughed and knew I was kidding. One of these days I am hoping to mature. It hasn’t happened yet though.
