I sent this picture to Ethan today. I sent it in a text message with a sentence: “Jiminy wants you to blow off the rest of the day at work and have you come home a little early to snuggle with him.”

 It warmed up today. I let our fire go out this afternoon. Ethan was out in the garage working. He hasn’t done that in a few months. That made me happy.

For dinner I made a 16 bean soup with ham. I ate a small bowl to make sure it wasn’t going to bother my stomach. It was delicious.

I puttered this evening. Did some chores. Paul went out riding with the guys. He suspects it is the last weekend to ride. 

I have some tasks to finish up in the morning. Then I may venture out into the public like an actual human being. We will see how I feel in the morning.

This evening Jiminy and I snuggled on the heating pad. I was totally enjoying it. He is just so easy to love. I asked Ethan if I could sleep with Jiminy tonight. Normally, Jiminy sleeps with Ethan. They have a cute little night time routine they do. 

I carefully put Jiminy on my bed. He knew right where to go. He sleeps on my left side I cradle him with my arm. He nestles right in. He is a wonderful sleeping companion.
