I got the call today that Ethan was switched from the Essentials plan to straighten county Medicaid. This will be so helpful for him. He may need to be re-evaluated again but right now we can pick up his medications. I have 3 refills waiting for Ethan to pick up.

It is also nice to have an awesome pharmacy. Our pharmacy is so kind to us. They have everything ready and are always available for suggestions. We feel like they care. If they don’t care, they do a super job of hiding it!

As far as how much of a pain this Medicaid situation has been, I have learned a lot of useful information I can share with others. I am thankful for that.

I had a long and busy day. Friends kept me entertained though with funny texts. I got a play by play of jury duty and I felt like I was right there. I could almost smell the one guys bad leftovers heating up in the microwave. People are unbelievable.

I worked a little late to squeeze in one last phone call. I am hoping my efforts pair this person with their dream clinic!

I received the final details of the conference I am attending next week. I have been paired up with someone I have never met. I am hoping it will be a fruitful match. If it isn’t it will be a long few days to get through with this person.

Avery and I had our Monday exercise call. School is going well for them so far. Avery just got offered another part time position helping a math teacher grade papers for a class called Differential Equations. Avery is excited and she will get paid. Great ways to build her resume! Also, one of the students in that class is KENDALL. Conflict of interest?

As always Avery had me cracking up with her adventures with the cats. Her kitten is curious and has developed patterns and routines. Avery is learning the consequences of interrupting those routines. I love animal behavior.

  1. Phew! That sounds like a health care WIN. Maybe not a knock out punch, but definitely a solid hit. Oh, there's so many best selling books you can write, but add "Navigating Medicaid" to one. That's not the title, but you'll add a humorous spin on it. xoxo
