I worked with my old friends today. We had fun. It was nice catching up. One lady and I have a special relationship where we shoot each other the bird as much as possible. It is done in a fun way. I look forward to it as does she.
I got to look at, touch, help lots of pets today and I enjoyed that. There was a Chihuahua I got to work with. My favorite!
I did regret saying yes to this when I was walking to my car this morning. Brrrrr! The regret was brief and passed.
I took a quick nap with Jiminy when I got home. I think it was from all that people-ing that I did.
Off to donate blood, and then Ethan decided he wanted Chinese food take out for his birthday dinner. It is very salty so he rarely eats it.
He LOVES the cheese wontons. He got his meal and he ate it happily. I order the Kung Pao chicken. I like it for the spice. It was a tad bit spicier than usual and it made my nose run. I mentioned multiple times it was spicey. I even had to blow my nose a few times. Paul wanted to try it.
He put some on his plate and took a large bite. I experienced live action proof of his listening skills in real time. He started to choke and gag. He then yelled “this is f$&king spicey!” As if I personally withheld that information on purpose. Telling me, as if I had not even mentioned it once.”Have you listened to a word I said?” He was waving his tongue and walking frantically around the house exhaling dramatically as if that would cool off his tongue.
I didn’t feel bad. He had ample warning. He finally got a grip and then went in for a second bite. We had a repeater of the first bite. He cracks me up.
I received a letter from the dermatologist that the mole they removed from Ethan was benign. Yay and phew!
Paul went out on a solo ride on his snowmobile for a few hours. He is going again tomorrow. I am happily staying back and staying warm doing my chores.
