​I had to work today and felt very sorry for myself. Boo! I am observing the holiday on Monday.

Ethan and his buddies had a relaxing day. Ethan worked a little bit on his fireworks. His friends went to town. When they got back, they all went in the lake. While they were gone, Ethan starting building things for his show.

Ethan asked where the snorkeling gear was. These three chuckle heads put on the snorkeling gear and were just laughing in the lake. I was wonderful to hear. This lake has provided us with decades of lake silliness.

Moe got a lake bath. He was warm after one of his walks. I quick gave him a bath to dry off in the sun, in between my calls.

Ethan’s one friend shared he is lactose intolerant as he was eating several pieces of cheese and pizza with cheese on it. I was immediately thankful the guys were in a tent and not imploding my camper with noxious gas. I told the other guy in the tent that I hope he rested in peace.

Avery and Kendall arrived. Their drive was uneventful. They are just so fun. Avery’s giggle….music to my ears.

Paul and Andy were neck and neck for who was slurring their words the most at the camp fire. Competing with each other without even knowing it, they were just laughing. Sometimes so hard, no sound was coming out, but still hilarious.

It was hysterical. I added another quote to our family quotes. Diane had the mini leaf blower. Andy made a snide comment and Diane threatened to turn on the leaf blower while saying “watch it or I will blow your cigarette into Paul’s Aqua net.”

We had just been talking about Paul’s bouffant hairstyle from the 90’s. He maintained it with aqua net.

Avery and Kendall were pleased with the efforts I went through to make their bed comfortable. I added a 3” piece of memory foam. They said it made a huge difference. Yay!

We fired up the Ninja Slushie machine today. It was yummy. We kept adding juices. Some people added alcohol, some didn’t. We are adults and can do what we want (as long as it is legal).

Moe was being silly with Paul.
