I felt very sorry for myself having to work today. (Don’t feel that sorry for me). I took advantage of the breeze and sat out at the lake for the majority of the day. Ethan and Phil went in the lake but mostly enjoyed the day by doing nothing. This was my office view today. I sat in the shade and stayed cool.

Ethan carried around Jiminy and rocked him in the hammock. Jiminy LOVED it!

My work day was a mad dash to try and do everything but not succeeding. Maybe next week? Next week I will be handing over my territories and relocate to my territories in the North.
Paul fluttered around like a busy bee washing the camper, moving stone, washing Lois and Craig’s camper, dismantling the old dock, mowing, weed whacking and more. He made time to go in the lake and wash off his sweat too!
In between calls I was able to take the dogs up the road a couple times for a walk. I am far more active here. After work I took Moe for a run while I rode the bike. He did about a mile at close to full speed.
After work Ethan seemed to want to go with me to walk the dogs. On the walk back, he became emotional and shared that this weekend was the first time in a LONG time he felt like he could relax. He enjoyed doing nothing all day. He enjoyed the peace and quiet of camp. He and Phil didn’t do too much. They did go in the lake and play around in the water for a bit.
He is thinking he is going to go home tomorrow. He hasn’t decided totally yet.
Tomorrow we got invited by the neighbor to the antique boat museum to go on a boat ride in one of their antique boats. We plan to go and then stop for dinner afterward.
This evening we didn’t even light a fire. We sat out and watched the sun set just chatting.

Jiminy was swaddled in his blanket. He fell fast asleep. Why is he so darn cute and perfect?

heartwarming news from Ethan. My wish is for many more of these times for him.
