I sent a communication to Ethan’s heart team this morning asking if they have a dietician referral they can recommend. I won’t hear back until Monday or Tuesday, but they may have a good lead for me.
I proceeded to pick away at annoying chores like cleaning out the refrigerator, pay bills and adult activities we all have to do. It allowed me time to think and mull over different ideas for Ethan that will be easy. He is not much of a chef.
I read a bit more about kidney diets, did research on kidney friendly snacks, tried dehydrating beets for Ethan to try to see if he would like them….he did.
I was adding items to my Instacart so I can try new and different snacks for him.
Paul went snowmobiling, so I puttered all day. I wore Pj’s all day and kept the fire place full of wood (thanks to Paul) to stay cozy!
Ethan wanted to watch TV, so we turned on South Park, and it switched over to Beavis and Butthead after about an hour. Jiminy did his routine evening napping right next to me.
I was on my computer catching up on work things, so I didn’t have to pay attention but still got to appreciate the 7 th grade humor. Sharing a laugh with Ethan is always fun.
Beevis and Butthead are my favorite ❤️
