Ethan’s Journey

 The coffee cups are SO SMALL! They are more like espresso cups! Do American’s have a caffeine consumption issue? We were off to the airport. We went through security. The weird thing they do is make you take out your liquids out of your bag. There is liquid dumping stations. My bag got flagged and they went through it. No explosives or terrible contraband in my bag! We went to the Copenhagen version of  “Dunkin’ Donuts” and the food was WAY better. I got a basil, pesto and tomato hot sandwich. Yum! The weird thing was, even though it was an international flight, we didn’t need to do anything special. We were in boarding group 4. There were 5 boarding groups. I popped into line as soon as they said boarding group #4! Melissa was close to me and the way we zippered into line, David, the gentleman, was a bit behind us.  Happy Mother’s Day!!!! Our plan was to not set an alarm and just wake up when our bodies said to. I assumed my body would get me up around 6:30. I heard a knock at the door and it was 8:30 am. I saw that Melissa and David had texted they were up and ready for breakfast for about a hour. Yikes. I felt terrible everyone was waiting on me for breakfast. I needed to shower but was still a little stupid from the lack of caffeine. I went into the bathroom and couldn’t find the knob for the shower. The bathroom is smaller than our camper bathroom. There is a small spot you pull the shower curtain closed, but during a shower the entire bathroom pretty much gets wet. But there are NO visible knobs!  I played with the handles on the sink. Nothing happened. I texted David for help.  I had to switch a lever on the left on the sink to control the shower. Ugh! Why? Fine!!!! I moved forward annoyed.
