Yesterday we were on the run all day long. We had Ethan helping as well, lifting, carrying, going up and down the stairs, just going all day long. He looks healthy. But on the inside his body is working extra hard to keep some form of homeostasis.
Today he and Paul were working on moving things around. He was back at it again. He crashed hard. Took a very long nap this afternoon. I left him alone and let him sleep. I can’t imagine having to deal with that nonsense at 23 years old.
We had our Mother’s Day celebration. It was fun and we had yummy food. After we were done eating, I had Avery hand out the Mother’s Day cards. Everyone put their cards on one table. She grabbed all the cards except OURS! I found the cards hours later. Ugh!
Well, we will hand them out another day! Avery will be mortified when she finds out. I probably won’t even tell her because no good will come of it.
She was a great help today!
Tomorrow is our stupid phone call about Ethan paying back the overpayment from social security. I watched a few videos and read some threads on what other people have done when they find themselves in this predicament. Turns out, this is pretty common.
I am worried that he will have to pay this back and it was for a mistake they made. Ugh!
Well will face the music and will be mostly compliant. When does it stop? Ethan is so bummed.
