So the cold spell was real. The feels like temp….accurate. I took Moe out this morning in this weather. He has never pottied so fast. Poor thing.

It was a slow moving morning. The crew waited until it warmed up to -5 before leaving (around noon).

It was a quiet afternoon. I worked and then afterward did some exercising as well as some stretching with the lull of Keith Morrison’s voice telling a dateline story. He could make reading the phone book sound interesting.

Moe slept away the afternoon, while I slaved away at work. He was a bit out of sorts with the transition of everyone coming in, in their helmets, heater and volume. It goes from quiet and relaxed to busy and loud with the 9 people busting through the door all at once. Moe was growling and on alert. I had ahold of his collar until everyone was situated.

Moe had very minimal time outside due to the extreme weather. He had some cooped up energy and was running sideways on the furniture once everyone was settled. After a few times of that, he was ready for bed. Ha!

There was an engaging game of Left, Right, Center. It seems that rules are developing as the week goes on. Shots are now mandatory when certain dice combinations are made. Shots of rumplemintz were implemented and executed.

I like watching more than playing, only because I find the chairs are so uncomfortable. If I can stand, I am much more comfortable.

I was able to add a few quotes to our family quotes list. We consider our friends as part of our family, so it only makes sense. Maybe in six months we will read a quote recorded from this evening and share a laugh about it….again!

There may or may not have been an incident(s) of placing inappropriate stickers on everyday house items. I did evil sucker  about this more than I should have. I can’t figure out why I am always blamed (total lie).

In the room I am sleeping in, I share a bed with Paul and Moe. We share a room with one of Paul’s friend.

At one point a noxious gas escaped one of the testosterone bearing males in the room. The air became thick and likely greenish black. It was foul.  I could feel the air in my mouth and needed to abort the situation.

I had to leave the room to get some fresh and clean air. As I re-entered the room, I was assaulted once again with the toxic and almost deadly gas.  I had to endure the trauma of smelling it as there were already a group of snorers occupying the living room.

These are the things that while not ideal, makes trips like these memorable.
