Sundays are always busy. All 4 dogs get their nails clipped and dremmeled…well only 3 get dremmeled because Moe is afraid. I compromised that he is tolerating nail trims. When I first got him, he was trying to bite me (with intent). I was not able to trim his nails by myself.

We have worked hard to get to the point that I can do it by myself with no attempts to bite. I can skip the dremel for him. I am choosing my battles on this one.

A girl I went to high school with has been going through a lot with her husband and child’s medical issues. They are pretty significant medical issues. Her friends have rallied around her and started a go fund me page for her.

Go fund me saved us during Ethan’s medical crisis. It helped in so many ways. Bill’s, food, a coffee here and there or even a canned margarita here and there delivered, multiple uber rides, did I mention bills?

Life moves on when your world stops! The electric company wants to get paid, the gas company wants to get paid. Your trying to just exist a mere shell of yourself.

I wanted to bypass the Go Fund Me and give her all the funds. I was able to get her Venmo. She felt awkward giving her Venmo information to me. Sometimes accepting help is difficult. It really is hard to admit, “Hey, I don’t even know what I need!”

Sometimes it might feel awkward but it helps others feel less helpless. Let me make this about me…says the Leo…..i want to feel less helpless!!!!! Also, don’t argue with me. It is my money and I can do what I want with it! Ha! This is what I WANT to do!!!!

I vowed I would pay it forward when I could. She and I have been chatting back and forth. Sometimes it helps to just have someone to have a non-judgmental exchange with someone who has walked in similar shoes.

I met up with Avery today. We shopped together for a bit! A dose of Avery is always good for the soul.

Moe got to go for 2 walks around the field. I am trying to make sure he gets appropriate exercise. Even though I don’t enjoy being out in the cold, it is a good way to elevate my heart rate.

Paul has been snowmobiling since Thursday morning. Our driveway has collected some snow but is still drivable. I have been keeping up with our walkway. I went through all of the wood he brought to the garage last week.

I can’t wait to show him all the projects I have accomplished.

I am playing around with my margarita recipe. Tonight I added Grand Mariner and cranberry juice. It came out pretty good. However, I enjoy the taste of tequila and like most combinations. I wasn’t a big fan of peach.

Tonight I am wondering if Moe is going to jump the gate and join me in bed for night number 3. Goofy dog. If he comes up, I will make him allow me to kiss him and hug him.
