Last night I tried something different. I used one of Ethan’s old mold-able rectangles and placed it under my back to sleep. It’s like a plastic bag with play-doh in it and it was helpful for Ethan when we had to worry about bed sores. I laid on my back and it created my back to flex in the opposite direction of sitting. The small of my back was pushed towards the ceiling. I slept the entire night like that. I wouldn’t say it was comfortable, but it wasn’t so uncomfortable to keep me awake. I am really good at sleeping.
This morning I figured I was either going to be significantly crippled or feel much better. I was delighted that my back felt pretty good. So weird!
I was busy after work today. I dropped off stuff at Goodwill, picked up groceries, went to the ATM and on my way home I got a call from Avery. Paul had told her to drop her car off at the house so he could remove the snow tires and put regular tires back on it. Avery needed a ride back to her apartment.
She met me at the house and we put groceries away. I let Moe out and quietly asked him if he wanted to “go for a ride?” He happily zoomed to the van!
We got in the van to go to her apartment and asked her if she left the keys on the counter.
She had the keys in her pocket. She pulled the keys out and put them in my center console. We laughed at how pissed we would both be if she didn’t leave the keys. We had a good chat in the car. She got out and walked to her apartment.
As I was leaving the apartment complex she called me. She had absent kindly put the keys back in her pocket. I was cracking up as I turned around to go get them. Oh Aves!
Moe was pumped that he got to ride shotgun all the way home.
I made enough meal prep for 14 meals. I stashed those in the freezer. I used my new Scotch Bonnet pepper spice to give it some zing. I stumbled upon this spice in Grand Bahama. I will see if the boys notice.
We have a busy work weekend ahead of us. Lot’s to accomplish.
I have to start to strategically plan my packing for Sweden and Denmark. I am only taking a backpack and a carry on. Wish me luck!
I feel bad for Paul as he will be tied up with all of our car maintenance this weekend. Removing snow tires, putting on new tires. Fixing the things that are broken. My van needs a bit of love.
He didn’t get home until almost 9 pm. Work hard, play hard!
