I am hoping we have a break from the rain. Ethan’s yard needs to dry out so he can move forward and have his floor poured.
Paul’s dad is getting a little better each day with hopes to be released tomorrow. I will be on hospital duty for the day. We want an extra set of ears to make sure we are setting him up for success at home.
I am so, so thankful to be able to work remotely. I do have a few calls to make tomorrow and will have to find a “quiet” spot somewhere to be able to conduct interviews.
This week Ethan goes to the neurologist for his annual seizure check in. Basically it is to continue to have a valid doctor/patient relationship to continue prescribing Ethan’s seizure medication. Ethan has no interest in discontinuing the medications and has been advised against it.
I popped by Avery’s for a quick minute. I was able to give her a hug and drop something off for Kendall. She is almost done with the semester. Woo hoo! I think she is excited to start her summer externship.
Ethan and I had some time together today. He was so helpful in multiple ways. He even saw me pull in the driveway and he started unloading them before I could even ask for help.
I have a wheel bearing that decided to become an issue today. Paul will be fixing it. He is hoping to do it before his work trip.
Tonight Paul came inside with dirty hands. He was doing work on one of the cars. He rarely has his hands this dirty. I pretended I was offended at the sight. Typically he wears latex gloves and has clean hands.
“ I just changed the sheets on the bed, are you planning on washing your hands before bed?” I asked, as if he wouldn’t have them scrubbed clean. He absolutely would.
“No. I wasn’t planning on washing them at all.” He said sarcastically.
“In fact, I was going to rub my dirty hands all over my butt, and not wash them so they are extra dirty for bed.” He said.
Eeeewwwwww! GROSS!
I started laughing at that ridiculous thought. Thankfully, I am 200% confident he was joking.
We haven’t seen each other this weekend. It seems he has pent up dad jokes he needs to share.
