Paul did not follow directions last night. I asked him to lock the dogs up before he went to bed. When he wasn’t looking, Moe snuck upstairs and quietly invited himself into the bed. I was sleeping so I didn’t notice.
I woke up in the middle of the night and Moe was snoring in my face. Part of me is proud of him for being so sneaky, the other part….i don’t want him in the bed snoring in my face.
Early this morning I hear this snorting noise. It was Moe making a gross noise. Paul started giggling as it woke him up too. A man giggle makes me giggle. The two of us giggling in the dark at 4 in the morning.
“You failed your task last night.” I lovingly pointed out. “How does it feel to wake up as a failure?” I asked him in a completely monotone voice. Moe made more snorting noises and we continued to giggle.
“He was sneaky.” Paul responded.
The dog snoring continued along with occasional snorting. This dog!!!!
Ethan and I headed off the the lab at 7:30. He has timed tests so he needs to be at the lab right before his medications are due.
I dropped him off at the lab, drove a few doors down and got my blood drawn. I have a different lab. My blood draw was quick and I made it back to Ethan before his name was called.
When we arrived home, Paul and I were having coffee together. Paul started chatting with me. During the conversation I sneezed twice. I looked at him and he was super annoyed. He stopped talking and was glaring at me.
“Jesus! I am trying to have a conversation!” He said in a huffy tone.
I sneezed one more time and burst out laughing!
“Why are you laughing?” He asked with his judgy face front and center.
“Because you just got mad at me for sneezing while you were talking. Upset about it.”
I continued to laugh.
“I am sorry my nose had a physiological reaction that I couldn’t control”
Ahhhhhh …..only long term partners have this level of annoyance with one another. He was not impressed I was laughing either. Once I stopped laughing, he was able to tell me his non-important story.
Ethan and I worked on his taxes this afternoon. There were a lot of bad words said. They are making him mail his taxes in. Annoying! But the bright side is that he is getting a return!
Then, Paul and Ethan went to order new phones today. While the were gone I logged into work, did meal prep and light cleaning.
I was able but an abundance of a variety of meals for when we are away. Ethan has some safe meals to eat!
Jiminy gets an upset tummy when there is change. Ethan and I formulated a plan for the little when we are away. They are used to having me around.
We did the same plan about a month ago and we t worked really well. No diarrhea for Sir Cricket! Yay! He is the golden dog. We will bend over backwards for him.
I am excited to visit with friends that are our family tomorrow!
