This morning I went for a walk across the street on the beach. It is about a 45 second walk. I thought I spotted a turtle. I ran back to get my camera. Turns out, it was just a tire. Boo!
We did some light grocery shopping before heading to our dolphin encounter.
At the dolphin encounter, there were fancy birds, tortoises and of course dolphins. The directions were simple. Leave your camera’s off the dock. We would get an opportunity to bring our phones down later. Of course one lady didn’t follow the directions. She got spoken too, like she should have. Then she decided to leave a poor review because SHE was an idiot and didn’t follow directions.
She brought it up several times during and after the dolphin encounter. She was saying how terrible the woman was that told her she couldn’t use her phone. What a jerk! I am likely going to write a review saying what an idiot the woman was for not following the directions.
Our group wasn’t too big. We all got to get into the water in smaller groups to have time petting and touching the dolphin. It was instructed to touch the dolphins belly but to stop at the belly button, so of course I accused Paul of touching lower than the belly button. I told him he was going to have to be on a registry for dolphin molestation. I was giggling and the tour guide must have heard our conversation.
The guide yelled out “don’t start what you can’t finish buddy!” To Paul. Of course Paul denied it. We were laughing.
The dolphin gave us a kiss and posed with us! So fun!

Some lady was wearing a Gulf of America hat which we thought was worn in poor taste abroad. Opinions are like buttholes…everyone has one. People won’t always agree with your point of view, but it’s how we deal with differences that is important. We minded our own business, but silently didn’t like it.
We all totally enjoyed ourselves at the dolphin encounter. The only way it could have been better is if Diane were with us! Of course I foundational behavior fascinating and understand the power of positive reinforcement, but it is still impressive.
The dolphin that we got to hang out with today was named Rabbala which means mother. Rabbala is 46 years old and can jump 20 feet in the air. She eats about 30 pounds of fish a day.
We then went to a beach that was very close to our rental place. The sand was so beautiful and water was so clear! It almost didn’t seem to look real because it was so picturesque. I walked the beach while Paul and Andy stayed close to the towels.

The best part about it was that there was NO ONE on the beach with us! I went in the ocean. I walked the beach and found a tiny sand dollar that was the cutest!
After we felt adequately torched, we came back to the rental house. Andy and Paul went in the pool. I went across the street to the beach. I was the only one there besides a man that was fishing with a net. I watched him. The sea gulls were having a field day.
We had a leisurely evening. We were tired from all the excitement today! Another nice sunset in the back yard!
