Today was even warmer than yesterday. I might go through a huge sunshine withdrawal when we get home. Ugh!
As I drank my coffee this morning, I stood on the dock over looking the canal. I saw a mini octopus. I got to see it swim away. WOW! I was so excited!

My finger redness has not grown. It is holding steady at swollen, difficult to bend, not painful. I consider that a win!
Andy found a cool beachside restaurant we could go to and eat but also enjoy the beach. We packed a cooler and headed out to explore yet another beach.
The beach was amazing. The best beach yet! Beautiful blue and sparkly water. We were able to walk out pretty far on a sandy path. I found two alive shells that I watched bury themselves in the sand. Nature’s tv!
Paul and I walked the sandbar way out to explore. It was like a runway! The view and colors were just so pretty. The water felt warm. At one point I stood with my eyes closed, and filled my lungs with the sea salt warm air. I felt the sun shining down on my skin. The relaxing repetitive noise of the waves with an occasional gull laughing off in the distance (I think it sounds like laughing)…ahhhhh bliss
We had an umbrella we were sitting under. We were watching a couple farther down the beach try to put together an “easy up”. It clearly was not easy for them. The lady had on a thong bathing suit and kept bending over. She may have a painful sunburn on her balloon knot tomorrow. The bathing suit was barely legal.
After enjoying the beach, we ate at the restaurant. We sat outside on the deck in the shade, overlooking the ocean of course.
After eating, decided to go to the Bahamian brewery. We have been enjoying the Bahamian beer while we have been here. Andy and Paul bought some souvenirs.
We came back to the house and went in the pool for a bit. Paul and I walked the beach across the street. Our friends at the restaurant called to us and asked us to come over.
We went over for a drink. Andy and Paul did a shot. I declined. I don’t want to feel yucky traveling all day long.

Afterwards, Paul tried to get me to sit outside with him. “No , it is the time that ginormous rat comes around.” I said.
For some reason, in my mind, the bigger the rat, the bigger the nasty disease is that they will give you.
It was a nice and relaxing last day. We have decided we would like to come back to this island some day. The beaches are all so different. We enjoy sitting in the sun or walking the beach.
Sad to leave tomorrow to go back to cold and dismal weather.
