10/25/26

I talked to Avery on the phone while Ethan and Paul went to cars and coffee. Ethan was volunteering there and was running all around.

Today was bath day! All the pups got a bath. Tomorrow will be nails day.

Paul and my uncle wrapped the camper in its winter blanket (camper cover). All tucked away until May.

Ethan passed out on the couch for a while. Sundays seem to be the day his body waves the white flag. He naps.

I did some more meal prep along with made two batches of cookies. Yum! I put them in the freezer so they last a bit longer.

Paul finished his drainage project, as well as cleaned the chimney. In anticipation of winter, it was so nice out, I took my mini chainsaw out and cut up sticks. We have an abundance of sticks from all the trees around the yard. Paul piles them up. I cut them into small sizes to use as kindling.

We are in good shape for kindling this year. ❤️

I was feeling a bit bad about just putting the dead bat in a pile of ashes. I moved him to one of our plants as a Halloween decoration. He is stiff and crinkly. No smell. He is perfectly preserved. Don’t worry, I didn’t actually touch it. 🦇
