We received an initial report and a surgical report from the kidney biopsy. We are waiting for one last report for a plan to be made.
We met with the nephrologist. She didn’t want to make a determination as to what to do for Ethan without this last report. We have to meet with her again in 2 weeks. Ethan has to get his lab work done on Saturday.
Ethan then had his appointment with his other doctor. I don’t need to be present for those appointments. He did a video visit. The positive from COVID -the gift of video visits.
Ethan tries so hard to maintain full time hours while juggling all of these appointments.
I did inquire about his fatigue. His doctor said that his kidney values shouldn’t be bad enough to cause fatigue and kind of dismissed that symptom. He has been struggling with it more than in the past. I will continue to tell all the doctors that will listen. It’s such a vague symptom so I think that makes it hard to pin point the cause.
If anemia is still present on the bloodwork done this Saturday, I may advocate for a supplement to stimulate the red blood cell production to see if that helps alleviate that symptom.
Another co-worker and I are on the FUN committee. Once a month we plan activities for our team meetings that encourage participation, and team work. Today we did a virtual escape room. It was fun. It took quite a bit of planning, but we did got prepared. I think it was well received.
I am skipping town this weekend for some time away to celebrate my Sarah’s birthday. A gift for her, but really it is a gift for us both. We always have some sort of silly adventure. We will likely stay in the hotel, eat yummy food and watch HGTV.
I met my friend out for dinner tonight and had such a nice time catching up with her. We had margaritas and I appreciated them. I actually looked forward to them all day. Wednesday night is Ladies night and beverages are 50% off….sign me up.
I caught the cutest moment on my bird cam today. Sir Cardinal was sharing food with Lady Cardinal. It was such a sweet moment. When I saw the video play back, my heart felt warm and fuzzy. What a cool thing to have captured. My cousin posted the video on Reddit.
We have been sleeping with the windows open. It has been glorious. I am glad it is that time of year again.
