Today I started work early. I had lots to do and wanted to make sure I got it all accomplished. I was able to get most of it done and I was happy with that.
I needed a cut and color done at the hair dressers. Once that was taken care of, I ordered some Wegmans subs, stopped home and grabbed Paul, picked up the subs and went to Avery’s dorm.
She was out of sorts because she had worked all day and then had to move all of her things into the town houses which are almost right next to the dorms, on campus.
THEN she found out the town houses which she is in, is on the second floor. She was NOT pleased with having to walk all of her things up stairs.
When we got to her, she was miserable. To be fair, Paul and I were hungry/hangry and the three of us made for a real pissy group. We ate and we miraculously became far more team oriented.
Paul and I loaded up carts and just walked the carts over to the town houses which as it was that close. It was easier than unloading the carts into our vehicle, drive 100 feet and then unload the vehicle. We burned some calories this evening.
Avery was so thankful we came and helped. She thanked us 1000 times. Once we got everything in the town house, Paul and I made up her bed for her with her freshly cleaned sheets.
We said goodbye and I reminded her that she didn’t need to get her room organized by the end of the night. It’s ok if she takes a break! Sometimes you need to hear that.
Paul and I are miffed that the holiday weekend is going to be rainy-ish and chilly. I don’t want dirty paws in my clean camper. I already packed the paw towels just in case it is a bit muddy.
Tomorrow is hump day!!!!
