Paul’s alarm went off at 5 am. I wasn’t warned ahead of time and was not expecting that. He pulled himself out of bed and went to pretty himself up.
I never did go back to sleep. I have been scarred with alarms from the hospital and was wide awake. Paul let the dogs out and then I received a text from Paul from one floor down of our house.
This was the romantic text exchange between Paul and I. So at 5:20, I climbed out of bed, put the dog in the shower and proceeded to wash the fecal material off of his fur.
I took 3 shampoo applications to address the smell of the defecation material. Ugh!
It was a little after 6 when all was completed. I had less than an hour to prepare for physical therapy.
My physical therapy had me sweating today. Why is it so hot in there? Being warm and “working out” makes for a sweaty hour.
I wound down my work week, but never finished all my work. This week was punishment for vacation. It was intense. It will spill over to next week. It made me alter my plans for working over the week of the 4 th because it was so crazy. Maybe Ethan’s biopsy mixed in is what made it such a rough week? It didn’t help.
We still don’t have answers from Ethan’s biopsy. The way this office works, I am not surprised. I am going to schedule an appointment to go over results and make a plan.
I stole Jiminy for the night so we can cuddle and sleep. He is the best bed sharer out of all the dogs. Ethan has him every night.TGIF!
Paul’s contact photo! 😂
