This morning we slowly introduced the dogs to Pluto. Jiminy is scared. Penny was also scared because the baby kitten hissed at her. She was also curious. Her body language was submissive. Side eyed glances, yawning and excessive checking to see where the kitten was.
Pluto was a bit nervous as well. He would run and dive under the couch. Then pop out again. It was better than TV.
I picked Ethan up and headed to Strong Hospital for his Nuclear Studies. His nurse today had a baby voice and she was talking to him like he was 6 years old. He was getting aggravated by it.
I sat in the waiting room while they were testing him. There was myself and a man. The man proceeds to make a phone call on SPEAKER. He and the person he was speaking with were so LOUD! Why? Leave the waiting room please sir. He spoke with the person for 16 minutes with full volume.
Once Ethan was done, he shared that the only side effect he had from his injections was facial pain and shortness of breath. We didn’t get results today but will in the coming days.
We have a plan for Ethan’s medication changes. Once he is therapeutic, they want to do a heart biopsy. This will make sure that there is no rejection with his new medication doses. They are hoping for August sometime.
We met with the nurse practitioner and went over Ethan’s annual exam. Ethan was in good spirits when we left.
After I returned home I finished up with work (I was working from the hospital). Then I went out to dinner with Sarah. We needed to catch up. We are looking forward to our camping weekend in a few weeks.
Sarah gave me a digital picture frame to add pictures too. I set it up and was quite thankful that I enjoy capturing moments with my camera. I have so many fun pictures that I added. Some are of family, some of friends. Some of pet’s. I even had a few pictures from when the kids were little (which feels like it wasn’t that long ago).
We had Pluto and Penny out tonight. They are so curious of each other. They are also cautious. At one point they were both on the couch together.
What a great and thoughtful gift! I was actually looking through funny past pics of us all last night- I’ll share some that you might want to add to the frame rotation!
