I tried to get Ethan’s mouth sore medication overnighted. The holiday has goofed things up and we are unable to receive the medication befor Monday.
This is a compounded medication that is not mixed in a pharmacy, but made at the hospital. I can stop by the hospital in Rochester and pick some up at their pharmacy on Sunday.
I did connect with the team to adjust the medication. They came up with plan C for rejection medication coverage.
Ethan asked Avery if she and Kendall wanted to go to the thrift store. I worked today or else I would have gone too.
It seemed like the four kids had a good time together which made my heart happy. I wondered if they were getting along. But it sounds like they had a nice little jaunt away.
When they returned, the sores in Ethan’s mouth was really bothering him. I didn’t have any Tylenol for some reason, so I ran to the dollar general and picked some up. He said it barely made a difference.
Ethan at one point disappeared from the campfire. I found him on the couch setting up his pill box. Not a normal 22 year old’s activity. I started to feel sad for him. But had to remind myself that he has to do these things because he is still here. I am thankful for that.
My cousin Andy and his girlfriend, Diane made it up. Our campfire size is growing.
Tomorrow is the fourth. Ethan will have his fireworks connected with a fuse so that he doesn’t run the risk of lighting his fireworks one at a time and have something happen.
Our fire ended when the wind kicked up. We went to the neighbors to play bumper pool. Phil learned how to play.
I won a game Avery and Kendall played twice. We were cheering loudly and commenting on strategy.
Even though I had to work today it was a fun day.
