We walked to the coffee shop and ordered some delicious breakfast. I got fancy and got a cappuccino. I was not upset with my choice.

We had about an hour after we got back from breakfast before getting to the airport. We sat in the lounge area which was great. It had fancy couches and fancy lights. It was relaxing.
We then had the front desk call a cab. We did this so that we didn’t get ripped off. Thankfully the cab took us door to door because it was pouring. Copenhagen was crying on us because we were leaving. It was probably tears of joy….but we won’t talk about that.
We got to the airport and shuffled along through security at a snails pace. People were being annoying and not paying attention. I thought there should be a bouncer so that they could bounce the people that stood in line for an hour to the back of the line for not paying attention.
You put your things in the tray and walk through the machine. Why is this so difficult. The lady next to me was flipping out because my baggage went in front of hers. She was trying to push hers in front and David told her to calm down.
Turns out, she was on our flight and was not at all late or behind to support her wild and erratic behavior. Eye roll!
We then had to go through the area where they verify your passport. Stood in a huge long line. It moved quite slow. Finally we got through with no incidence.
We had enough time to get a snack and go to the bathroom. Boarding began. We were in the last group. The wild woman from security pushed her way to the front. Good….go hurry to sit down for 8 hours.
Everyone loaded and they shut the door for boarding. The plan was getting to leave the gate when this older guy popped up and started heading to the bathroom. The stewardess was NOT happy with him. She chased him to his seat and told him the bathroom was closed.
Sir, you made some bad choices if you don’t go before we left!
Then like two other people tried to go to the bathroom. Seriously people?????? Go sit down!
The flight was long but uneventful. We got off the plane at what would be 8:30 pm Denmark time. It was actually 3:30 pm Boston time. My plane home wasn’t scheduled to leave until 6:50 pm.
I parted ways with David and Melissa as they continued on their journey home.
I walked what felt like 20 miles, sweating profusely to my gate. I started to get a bit cranky and tired. I grabbed a beverage (non-alcoholic) and dove into going through some work emails.
There weren’t very many people at my gate thankfully. I did start to notice that the music was annoying me. Then people walking too slow. Then just people in general. Then basically air was annoying. I don’t handle being tired well.
I was looking forward to getting home. I was excited to see Paul and Ethan as well as the dogs….and my bed!

I will not miss the shower at this place.
Our snack of pizza on the airplane looked a bit like lady undercarriage! I am just not mature enough to be in public!
Gettinginto Boston!
No waiting….except we were waiting!
There weren’t very many an awful lot of letters to say STOP!
Finally the time came to board the flight to Rochester. It was clear it was NOT even a remotely full flight. I got a notification my seat had been changed. Whatever…I don’t care.
I boarded the flight when my group was called, scanned my ticket and took comfort in knowing that NO ONE was sitting next to me! Yay!
I was sitting on the plane and my phone started ringing. It was the airline. They told me the flight was boarding and asked if I could report immediately to the gate. What?
“I am on the plane.” I said.
The flight attendants were hustling and bustling around. They started counting the passengers and had a little congregation where they whispered feverishly.
They went to another seat and called my name. “Diiulio?” The one man called out.
I raised my hand.
“I am right here” I called very confused.
He made me show him my ticket and my passport.
As soon as I do that, they shut the door and started moving away from the gate. I still have no idea what happened!
I arrived home. I was so happy to see Paul! We chatted the entire way home but I feel exhausted and my body hurts from lugging my stuff around all day.

I got a cool shot of Rochester coming in!
