Jiminy and Ethan have a special bond. This morning I saw Jiminy “guarding” Ethan. He was going to pick a fight with anyone that tried to hurt Ethan. Isn’t he threatening? Jiminy is just perfect!

I did some yard work today. I exercised what my Mom does. Do a little bit and rest. Do a little bit and more rest. It helped preserved my back. I will be shocked if I don’t get poison ivy.

I had the dogs out all day. I saw snakes with Ethan. I saw a baby fawn in the neighbors yard. Ethan showed me a pile of bones he found while mowing. It appeared to be an adolescent deer. 1/2 the spine and back legs were in one spot. The other half of the spine and skull were in the bushes.  We suspect it got hit by a car and then the wildlife took care of the clean up.

The dogs were out the majority of the day again today and they loved it. Jiminy found a spot in the sun near Penny.

They were doing dog stuff. Laying on the warm porch and napping rent free.

Another beautiful day. I pulled out a lot of nettles. I hate those things. I trimmed up some things.

I have orthostatic hypotension. That is a fancy way of saying if I stand up too quickly, I feel dizzy get tunnel vision that sometimes goes all the way black and have passed out…(not recently though!) it is from a sudden dip of blood pressure.  Multiple times a day I stand up and need a minute for my vision to straighten out. I have brought it up to my doctor. It has been happening since my teens.

Today it kept happening. I would squat down and stand up and feel weird for a minute. It kept repeating and it was driving me nuts. I even chugged a glass with water and was eating grapes and blueberries to increase my hydration. Super annoying.

Paul got home from the islands. He spent the evening shampooing, shining and cleaning Kendall’s new to them car. He said it drives nice. Yay! He was making sure it was safe for Kendall to drive.

Tomorrow’s agenda includes Ferguson’s cataract evaluation at the veterinary ophthalmologist, the vet that used to watch my kids! ❤️

  1. Yikes! I didn't know you have an ongoing issue with sudden drop of blood pressure and dizziness. One more joyful thing to deal with (not). That sucks. I had a unsettling dizzy spell awhile back and thought to myself... ah... do I now have vertigo? Our bodies are such wonderlands. Stupid.
