I was able to get a bunch done at work. I was hyper focused and my lists had lists to keep me on task!

I met a friend for a late lunch. We sat outside at the restaurant for a couple hours enjoying a nice chat and the sunshine and beautiful weather. It was a good visit.

I did my grocery pick up, stopped at the liquor store to get Paul’s wine. Chatted with Kendall, who works there.

Paul was on his way to check out a car for Kendall. It was in Syracuse. He got hung up in traffic and called me to vent about it. He had some colorful language (not judging because mine can be worse in a traffic situation).

He was worried that he was going to be late to meet up with the seller. I hate that kind of stress.

I am sure there is a more official description, but I call it “time stress”. When you don’t want to be late, but you are running late. That feeling of anxiety that twirls in the air. I would rather be 30 minutes early than 5 minutes late. I feel like my time is as valuable as someone else’s and being late shows a lack of respect for the other person’s time.

For some reason, time stress sucks the fun out of the day and replaces it with a sick feeling. Nope! I don’t like the feeling!

Paul met with the seller. He was able to test drive the vehicle and look it over. He determined it was a sound car and in really good condition. This car is going to throw the rest of Paul’s weekend off a little bit. He spent a couple hours with the salesman. The plan moving forward is that Kendall will deliver their car money to Syracuse and meet Paul at the place.

Paul is going to drive the car back to camp. He doesn’t want Kendall to drive it until he makes sure everything is sound on it.

Kendall and Avery had to divert their plans a bit but are excited for the reason!

Moe was begging to go outside. He then sat in front of me guarding!  We call him the sheep dog from looney tunes! He did discover there are chipmunks. He and Penny teamed up to try and catch one. It’s great enrichment for them.
