I love that the fireplace is cleaned out. The dogs and I enjoyed the warmth of the house and fire.

I had my bloodwork done today. I had a lipid panel done to see if I should be on a statin.

I also opted into the genetic testing that looks for genetic links to see if I am predisposed to any hereditary conditions. Awareness is half the battle.

The blood draw lady was very smooth with her needle. Barely felt it. She was quick and it was quite easy.

Avery and I met for dinner. We chatted about stuff. She shared she has been cranky so we had a good chat laughing and joking about life’s annoyances.

We FINALLY figured out what the weird noise was that we were hearing. For months, this noise appeared. My bird app didn’t pick it up. Paul thought it could be a tree frog. It sounded metallic or almost like a force field.

Paul crossed the road, trespassed and did some peeping. He committed acts of a peeping Paul.  Sounds creepy.

Apparently our neighbors have coturnix quail. They are used for their meat and eggs to consume and their poop is used as rich fertilizer. Who knew? I really dislike their call. I find it so loud and annoying. So does Penny. She barks everytime  she hears it.

Supposedly the call is less offensive than chickens. I would much prefer a rooster crowing. I find these quail noises super annoying.

I am glad we finally know what it is. It has been going on for months.
