We woke up at 4 am. I am tired. Ethan was wretching. We didn’t really get back to sleep after that. 

Another one bites the dust.  Ethan got his arterial line out!  Woo hoo.  He made 5 ml’s of urine this morning. Yes! I did a dance. 

We got the news we were moving to the 6 th floor. Yeah. Private bathroom here we come. The rooms are larger there. It is where the laundry facility is located so I don’t have to do the walk through the lobby...I saved my laundry in hopes this would happen and it worked out beautifully.

There is no monitors that bing or alarm as he does not have any pumps. They are monitoring his pulse, oxygen and heart rate but I don’t have to look at it. I keep hearing that parents hate this part. I monitor him by his color and facial expression.  I think I know when he is going to wretch before he does.

After the several trips down a few floors we finally had all out things moved. Then I was trying to unpack and juggle laundry while Ethan was having me set up his lap top and find the charging cords.

Ethan started thinking about his kidney again. He is worried it won’t work and he will have a whole other ordeal to contend with. I can’t blame him. It’s scary. We left it as no matter how much he worries, it will not change anything, but he should talk about his worry. He should share it. 

Our 4 hour dialysis session started. Ethan slept through most of it. They pulled off 2 liters in today’s session. That is wonderful.

Ethan has had a few bouts with nausea. More weans were made. Ugh! I can’t wait until weans are over.

We watched a show together at our new desk. It was great!

We were visited by a good friend from 9Tower. It was nice to see her. We still miss all of our friends from 9 Tower.

We finally have our own bathroom. I was able to sit my butt on a toilet seat for the first time in several months. It’s a good day for sure.
