I woke up crabby. There was no particular reason, I slept well, but when I opened my eyes, I felt exhausted. I closed them and laid there for a while maybe in a light sleep state. I forced myself to get up. Well this feeling isn’t ideal. I like being a morning person usually.
I let the dogs out and started working. I had a hair appointment at 9:00 am. I drove to my appointment but the door was locked. The lights were off. I remembered my hairdresser has another job she works at in the mornings. Phooey! I recorded the appointment wrong.
Soooo….when is my actual appointment I wondered. I texted my hair dresser and she said it was actually at 2:45. Crap! Hope I don’t have any appointments at that time. Luckily I didn’t.
We had to meet with the social security office today. They were about 15 minutes late. The appointment was an hour long. Thank goodness I was there. They wanted doctor names, past and future appointment times, medications Ethan was taking etc. he never would have remembered all of that.
We finished later than expected and that made me about a half hour late for my hair appointment. Ugh! Luckily I was texting my hairdresser with updates. I also gave her a solid tip for being so accommodating.
Because I was late, I had to reschedule some work meetings which worked out fine. It was just a hassle.
Ethan was confronted at his work about the time has to take off in the next few weeks for medical reasons. The head guy asked him if he was going to have a problem with attendance and warned him that attendance is very important and asked if he was really willing to commit to this position.
Ethan shut down and became pissed. He texted me. I told him we would talk about it when he got home. I explained that he has a business to run and 75% of his employees have been out sick within the first 7 days. The trust isn’t built up yet between Ethan and this business, so it is understandable why he is concerned. Maybe his delivery could have been better, but this is how life is.
I reached out to Ethan’s nephrology team. We were able to schedule an appointment BUT, now I think maybe we should try to do a Telehealth appointment. A telehealth appointment would cut down on Ethan being away from work. I sent an inquiry about it. Maybe if we do telehealth over his lunch break it would be less invasive to his work schedule.
I tried to start training Moe to invisible fence, but the collar doesn’t seem to be working. Ugh! Another phone call.
Moe worked really hard and learned how to sit on command finally. Yay! We did some work on recall. We are making progress, and learning a little bit of manners.
I am tired.
