Happy birthday to me! What a great day I had.
This morning the weather was calm, lake was smooth and it was warm. Thank’s Mother Nature! I had my coffee and talked to my mom on the phone.
While I was on the phone, I was scanning the ground. Grass, clover, dandelions, more grass, and then I saw a 4-leaf clover. Wow! It brought me luck all day. My dad was really good at finding them.
Paul went out and got me some breakfast treats. Yum!
We took the dogs for a run. To be clear, I was not running, but we let them off leash. They run really far ahead and I call them back. We practice the command “come” (don’t have a dirty mind) and they end up running twice as far. Penny runs the most. She goes 0-100 in less than 3 seconds.
After we tired the dogs out, we prepared to go out on the boat. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky. Penny wasn’t overly tired, so we had to decide if she could go with us or not. We finally decided YES, and Penny was so happy. The trouble with taking a “not tired” Penny is that we were going to a beach with people to bark at. I was hoping she would exercise control and not bark at everything..
We took our 4 dogs and Lois and Craig’s dog’s out on the boat. They had their two dogs as well. 6 dogs, 4 humans, for math purposes. We took the boat over to the sandy bottom beach, Wilson Bay. There is always great people watching.
I like to create back stories for people. I like to come up with little funny stories about them. It is great entertainment.
We went out to dinner at a cute little local restaurant. It was really crowded. Luckily I reserved a table online so we were seated right away. The workers were busting their hump!
They seated us where we had a prime people watching spot. I was not mature enough to commentate clean back stories as people rushed to the bathroom.
We came home and I took the dogs for a quick walk so that we could sit by the fire as the sun was setting. The lake was like glass.
I enjoyed pictures from my bird feeder all day long! Still no chipmunks. They must not have figured it out.
Many people reached out today and I appreciated it. I felt like a celebrity! Happy birthday to me!
Yay! Happy birthday, glorious day!
