7/19/24

 I woke up and walked down stairs this morning. Ethan was almost ready to leave for work. He said to me quickly, “Hey, just so you know, Liam is downstairs and spent the night.” I was so thankful for the heads up. I could see myself being startled and stabbing him or something terrible. 

I met up with a long time friend this morning. We met a this cute little diner in Henrietta called Sunny’s diner. The food was really yummy. The service was great! Our waitress was on the ball. I was happy to visit with my name twin. We caught up with things going on in our lives.

My back started becoming sore today. I could feel it all day. It’s not bad but it is noticeable. I am hoping to take it a little easy tomorrow. Going into the night shift, Sunday night, will be terrible with a sore back. I did a bunch of stretching, took some Tylenol and a muscle relaxer, fingers crossed that breaks the cycle.

I made a lot of progress with Mossimo off leash today. He is eager to please. He is very good motivated which is helpful. When he runs it makes me think of a bad dancer. It just looks goofy. But he wears a smile when he does it. 

Myself and all the dogs walked a few times around the field. Poor Jiminy was dying because his legs are so short.  He will sleep well tonight. Avery worked on calling Moe and having him sit when he arrived. I wanted Moe to get used to other people being the boss of him.

I was able to get Ethan’s therapist to call him on his lunch break in a few weeks for his appointment. This will be helpful for him not to miss more work. 

He came home today and mowed the back lawn. He wasn’t asked. He even took the gas cans down and filled them up. All on his own. Yay!

Avery and I went grocery shopping and picked up a pizza for dinner. For dessert, we got a small container of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream. I also picked up some bacon and cheese pup cups.

After eating my pizza, I shared the pup cup with Mossimo. Penny also got a taste. The dogs were in heaven. Moe was trying to eat the entire thing, plastic container and all. It was fun to watch.
