Invisible fence came today to troubleshoot my collar and help me train Moe to it. I thanked my last week self for deciding to do this. Moe did his normal greeting of barking (he has a beagle bark) and putting his hackles up.
Moe did really well with training and we have some homework to work on.
Today was the first day I let him stay out of his crate while I worked, without a leash on. He loved getting into the toy bin and didn’t seem to want to destruct the toys. He then got tired and took a nap on his bed (that Jiminy was guarding half the morning and wouldn’t allow him access).
Dog behavior is so funny. Jiminy was standing his ground while in the bed, but as soon as he got up and laid in a different bed, Moe laid in the first bed and Jiminy joined him. What? That’s not fair. Jiminy was setting his boundary. Moe respected it to. He seems like a polite dog as far as coexisting with the others.
I was able to set my bird feeder up after work. It took some finesse trying to get it in a location that I like. I am not convinced that it is going to stay where it is. I pretended I was a bird to see how clear the picture would be.
I learned that a co-worker that I really enjoy will be leaving our team. He has another opportunity he can’t pass up. He is hysterical and always makes relevant points.
I shared with him today that sometimes during meetings I secretly take screen shots of him and turn them into meme’s. I then shared the meme’s with him and the group. It shared a laugh, which it what it was intended to do. Now my team knows why I never remember info from our meetings. I am sometimes distracted.
I am thankful Paul is coming home soon. While he was gone, our box elder bushes was stormed by caterpillars and we lost all 4 in what seemed like overnight. I also killed a plant by not watering it.
Tomorrow we find out biopsy results. Ethan will spend his lunch in the car while we chat with the doctor. He says he is only staying until 12:30 and then he is going back to work. Ha ha. I hope we have a plan.
