 Today was even more perfect out. Sunny, slight breeze, warm lake water! YES!

I was frustrated when I took the dogs for a walk and there was so much traffic it wasn’t enjoyable. I said several bad words. 

Mossimo had another lake bath. He didn’t love it. 

We floated around in tubes, waded out extra far, looking for cool stuff in the water.

We went out on the boat and paddled around a cove for a while. No one else was there so that was ideal! Ethan took out the jetski.

Today is Avery and Andy’s birthday. I took Avery to the Cottag bakery. She picked out some cup cakes to try. Yum!

We knew it was going to rain over night, so we picked everything up and stored it in the boat house to avoid being soaked. 

As we were sitting around the fire, the power went out. It went out, out. There were 2000 homes without power. Apparently there was a transformer fire on one of the islands and that wiped out the power for about 10 hours.

It was very sticky and hot. We all sleep with a fan on. Sometimes multiple fans. The quiet is not conducive to a good night’s sleep. We ended up having to fun our generator for the night. Problem solved.
