Today was so warm. It actually felt like summer. 76 degrees with a nice breeze. I had the windows open. I had the dogs out getting in their fitness and setting up their urination boundaries to let all the wild and neighborhood animals know what is their territory….you know…typical dog stuff.
They were watching intently and doing a decent job of guarding me. Ready to pounce on intruders at a moment’s notice.
They were so sleepy tonight. Even Jiminy was snoring.
We had someone from Verizon come to the door, in the rain at 8 pm. He was trying to get us to sign up for their internet. We already have it. Weird.
They must have an outdated spreadsheet to try and sell us a service we already have. OR….it was a fraud!
The best part was, the guy knocked on the door and the storm door was open. The screen door was closed. Moe and Penny charged the door. Moe has a fairly deep and terrifying bark that means business! He also hurls his body at the door.
The man heard Paul and I bickering and trying to get Moe to his crate before “he is going to bite him….get him locked up.”
It seemed like something a burglar would do to case the joint. I didn’t care for it at all. Luckily we have cameras.
Tomorrow I took the day off. I had good intentions of deep cleaning. I am trading that in for a day of pampering myself.
I found a deal online for a facial at the spa. I have never had this done. It should be interesting.
Ethan was quite talkative and in good spirits today. These are the days I consider “gifts”.
