Today was full of sunshine, Canadian smoke and water fun. The weather was so nice. It was warm enough to make us want to go swimming. The water was cool and refreshing, but made me sweat when I jumped it. It was shockingly cold but I acclimated quickly.
Avery and her friend, Rachel, were like little ducks paddling around in the lake. The had tubes to float in.
Rachel’s dog is with us and vomited all of his breakfast. Too much excitement I think. I cleaned up the vomit with the pooper scooper and tossed it over the break wall into the lake. I figured it would be good fish food.
I figured wrong. It drifted towards where the girls were swimming and totally grossed them out. To make matters worse, a couple sea gulls showed up. They saw the delicious vomit. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.
The sea gulls were having a feast on the vomit food. The Sea gulls had a delicious buffet and somehow communicated with more sea gulls. That feast was gobbled up quickly. Ew!
I also got in the lake by just jumping in. Zero to 100. My body went into shock. Noise came out of me that I couldn’t control as I acclimated. Luckily it was so warm and humid out, it was deemed “refreshing”.
We took the jet ski’s and the boat out. That was fun. I was wearing a dress on the jet ski. I took the dress off and left in on the jet ski as we anchored off the shore of this close by island.
We swam around and hung out on the boat. When it was time to go, my cousin wanted to ride the jetski for a bit. He was told he could but he had to wear my dress.
Challenge accepted!
He rode the jet ski fast and furious, with a beautiful blue dress waving behind him in the wind. He was like a big, grand flag.
Day 1- success!

Lol, you kill me!
