There was a heat advisory today. Everyone just went in the water right off the bat. So we decided to combat the heat with going tubing. Paul took the girls out tubing. He flipped them several times over the course of an hour or so. He tired them right out.
We then took a boat ride to Wilson Bay and swam around for several hours. I mostly floated on a tube with a drink in my hand (which might be the next big country song). The lake was calm. The sun was hot. The day was wonderful.
In Wilson bay we all paddled around with alcoholic beverages. The girls paddled around in the water and we made fun of Paul for “peeing” in the lake even though we all were doing it.
Ethan drove back up for the rest of the weekend. As I cooked dinner, Ethan and Paul took the Jet-ski’s out for a ride. We had steak for dinner and it was perfectly cooked.
The sunset was quite spectacular. We received many gifts from Mother Nature today. I did enjoy time with my Sarah and her family.
We sat around the fire feeling the spots that didn’t get as much sunscreen as others.
