I am turning Ethan into a woman in her mid 40’s. This morning, he was watching the bird feeders. I was not. He noticed a baby rabbit zooming around and eating the fallen bird seed.
We then saw the chipmunk drama. Chip and Dale really enjoy the bird feeder but are not good at sharing with one another. They stuff their cheeks and try to guard the feeders from the other.
Then our Pileated woodpecker made an appearance. We have a tree stump that has an excellent for pecking and eating bugs. Ethan wanted to get video.
Ethan with all his leanness, went outside, in his boxer briefs, and started tip toeing through the backyard almost naked. He was trying to get video. I was chuckling to myself because he has always had a curiosity and love for nature and wild life. But all I could think was, someone is going to call the cops on him. He looks like a creeper. He then leaned down behind a mound of what is supposed to be flowers but is just weeks at this point.
He looked very suspicious.
I am glad we live in a place that presents us with the entertainment of wildlife creatures to watch instead of TV.
I did my online grocery shopping. Walmart grocery pick up was a disaster. In the long run it did save me time.
Ethan helped unpack and put away the groceries which was much appreciated. I rounded up the dogs and was on my way up to the islands.
The drive was uneventful. The dogs were excited to be back at camp. Jiminy stayed up late and is getting to stay in bed with us. The other dogs sleep in their crates.
I think Jiminy is missing Ethan. Ethan will have friends over this weekend/ I hope that takes his mind off of being away from Jiminy. He did want Jiminy to have fun though.
