4/13/25

I started my morning off by sending an update to our donor family. I felt the need to share with them that Ethan’s echo looked good and there are no signs of rejection. I shared how Ethan is doing his thing and Nichole is along for the ride. They need each other and one can’t survive without the other.

Nichole’s sister wrote back saying my timing was perfect and that she was getting ready to have breakfast with family. She could share that news at breakfast. I thought that was heart warming.

My back felt pretty good today. We did lots around the house to get ready to leave. Paul was washing the windows, I dusted some things. He helped me change the sheets on a few beds.

I organized Avery’s bedroom, which has been needed for several months. I put things in boxes and labeled them. That took up the majority of my morning.

Ethan has his 12:00 therapy appointment tomorrow and his 1:15 ultrasound appointment. We are starting the week off strong for appointments.

I have a gut feeling they won’t find anything on the ultrasound. We will schedule the biopsy. I can’t do it until the doctor puts in the order. As of Friday, she still had not done it.

I will call and send another message tomorrow. Sigh!

The weather today was so encouraging. I am hoping it stays brighter and nicer for the next few days.

I am feeling overwhelmed at work this week. I logged in today to make up for the time I will miss tomorrow during Ethan’s ultrasound.

I have to cram a bunch of interviews in before I leave. This week will be madness. But at least we get a prize at the end. ❤️
