We went to Ethan’s ultrasound today. Just a quick jaunt to the hospital for imaging. He had two ultrasonographers. The first one collected multiple images. Some with color, some without. Some with listening to the heart beat, some without. When he finished, he called his coworker over that started asking me about the ultrasound reports from 2021.
No idea…..that was 2021. I couldn’t answer the questions as I don’t remember that far back, every detail listed.
The two of them discussed branched arteries and were trying to visualize arteries and veins throughout the ultrasound. This ultrasound was looking for perfusion throughout the kidney (which is a fancy way of saying…the kidney has good blood flow).
When they were done, they asked us to wait in the waiting room until the radiologist reviewed the images…..just in case they had to redo some images. About 10 minutes later, we were able to leave. Phew!
Afterward, Ethan went back to work and I drove home. It is so convenient to have this location so close to our house. I am eager to see the report in Ethan’s chart later on.
The dogs got limited time outside today. I have a jam packed schedule this week. As it was I worked until 7 pm.
Then Paul and I sat on our front porch in the rocking chairs. We have a neighborhood dog that barks its brains out. The neighbor’s solution is to leave it outside to bark at every little thing that moves. They blissfully sit inside while we suffer and it makes our ears bleed!
Paul asked what kind of dog it is…it is some sort of terrier. “Figures!” Paul said.
Paul voiced his frustration with people that don’t seem self aware. I agree, that is annoying.
We are one day closer to vacation. Yay!
