This morning I woke up and had some really good snuggle time with each dog. They all loved their special time. I also enjoyed it. Silly dogs.
A previous coworker had her bridal shower today. She is the cutest human being. It has been a pleasure to watch her grow her career and grow into an adult. That is something an old person says, but it is so true! I am proud of the things she has done to get herself to where she is today!
I was also honored she thought of me when she sent out her invitations. I haven’t worked along side her in almost 3 years. She does all my dog’s dental cleanings and does a great job!
I sat with some previous coworkers and had a delightful time. It was good to visit and laugh with them again. We had two little kids at the table that were so fun. I love watching how their brains process information. Besides being super cute, we got a raw version of their thoughts on things. It was really important discussions such as which dinosaur was better? Stegosaurus or Tyrannosaurus Rex? 🦖 I said brontosaurus due to their elegant necks. We also had discussions about herbivores, carnivores and omnivore’s. I totally enjoyed myself!
I came home and got ready to go to our in-laws for dinner. We left shortly after and had a great visit with them. I enjoy listening to Dario’s stories. He shared his latest in his hammer toe drama. He has now started using a toe separator for relief. He has great feet stories about the Roman Empire. Of course Paul’s sister was there and I always enjoy her company.
I do value these moments and completely enjoyed myself today. It was a lot of peopling, and I have time scheduled to recoup my energy. It’s not that I don’t enjoy peopling, I just need to have quiet time afterward. Luckily I have learned this over the years and can avoid a total energy crash.
Ethan stayed home with the dogs. He fed them, watered them and let them out while we were gone. I was thankful he could do those things without fail.
