4/2/25

I walked by Paul’s MURSE (man purse) this morning. He keeps it hung on a door knob in the kitchen. He had his snacks packed which included a snack box (I make these filled with nuts, cheese and crackers) a prepared lunch from the freezer, a peanut butter dessert bar, an oatmeal cookie with cream in the middle and 5 granola bars. This was his food line up for the 10 hours he was away.

Di iulio men are known to be able to eat like bottomless wood chippers. They can eat large amounts of food that could otherwise feed a small village. I found it comical the amount of food he had. I started running the numbers of the cost per day of what it takes to feed just Paul. Damn! He is kind of expensive.

I then decided to add to it just to mess with him. When he wasn’t looking, I grabbed another 8 granola bars and added to his murse. I wondered if he would discover it and wonder how they all got there OR not notice them at all? I never heard one word about it the entire day. If he says nothing, I am probably going to do it again. Luckily, we have at least 8 boxes of granola bars on deck and an entire large shipping box in the cabinet that I empty the smaller granola boxes into. We will see how long I can have this continue without being noticed.

Ethan came home from work and geeked out with the tornados in Arkansas. Ever since he was little he has had a fascination with weather. He was talking about horizontal vortices, tornado hooks, debris beds and I saw videos of what he was watching multiple times. There was running commentary from the weather channel or some sort of weather channel. It brought back memories of when we would navigate tornado sirens when we lived in Georgia.

We also had a little bit of thunder and lightening, which was exciting.

Ethan pulled up videos from an F5 tornado from 2011. It was one of the deadliest tornados in history. It was crazy to see the destruction.

Our yard is yucky. The dogs don’t want to go out. I don’t blame them. It is just gross out. I am so glad I didn’t have to go anywhere. I didn’t even get out of my PJ’s. I luckily had no on-camera meetings today and I was a bum!!

I was pleased that I didn’t have any wild moments of anger and annoyance today! Yay! One day in a row.
