I made this little logo last night. I like it.  It is not perfected. But I am going to tweak it until I love it.

Last night Ethan had a decent night. He had normal blood pressures. He only dipped his oxygen a few times. He only dipped into the 80’s which is better than the 60’s like he was doing.

He peed a ton which is exciting because his kidneys are still working even though they don’t have to. They were able to pull off 1.8 liters last night. He is starting to look like himself, but so skinny. We can fix that.

I fixed his eyes this morning. I have decided I am going to lube them as much as possible.  I am going to be the eyeball nazi.  Those suckers are going to be slick as an oil spill.

Ethan’s nurses today are ones he has had in the past. They are great and I have them for 3 days so I am excited. 

My respiratory therapist friend is on this floor today. He and I like to discuss margaritas. He gave me a good recipe that I will try out this summer. He doesn’t have Ethan as a patient but I will pop down and chat with him today.

I am taking over the frequencer with doctors permission and am going to vibrate the crap out of his lungs. We have a busy day  ahead.  

Last night they started to wean some medications. We are still at 19 pumps. He also gets medications orally through his nasal gastric tube.

The sun is shining this fine morning as I continue to flip off hell. It is going to be a good day I can feel it.
