1/9 7:30 pm

My RT buddy brought me coffee and breakfast again today. I told him that I was going to put in a request to be my emotional support animal so he can get paid to just hang out with me all day. I sent him home with a margarita can again last night. It feels so good to be kind and share. I highly recommend it.

Ethan’s xrays are below. You can see the improvement and the team was happy. The first xray is yesterday, the second xray is today. You can actually see how we got rid of a lot the white. I am keeping it up today.

The goal today was continuing to toilet the lungs. Ha ha. Toilet the lungs. I can’t even be mature about it.  I have been so diligent timing the frequencer with the nebulizer. Playing whack-a-mole with the little cushy spoon thing on his chest to break up the mucus.

I did 10 flights of stairs. Not as many as yesterday but I also felt tired today.

We are down to 13 pumps. Woo hoo! Ethan is down another liter since 7:00 am. We are still going. 😳

I haven’t left the room much today. We have several visiting nursing/doctors visit and check in on us. Of course I enjoy my RT buddy stopping by too. He is so good to Ethan.  I also told him he can “help me” if he needs to check the football score. Go Bills! 🦬
